Manthan: The National Youth Conference
The National Youth Conference is a platform to discuss, disseminate and deliberate on the
possible plans, targets and solutions which must be generated and implemented by our
youth in order to enhance their effective participation and role in nation building. Manthan
aims to create an action-oriented social dialogue around an issue of prime importance. The
Conference participants shall be given an opportunity to either participate in oral paper
presentation or poster presentation or as delegates.
The theme for The National Youth Conference in YUVA 2021 is
Role of Youth in achieving Atmanirbhar Bharat: Reviving Indian spirit of self-reliance.
The Conference participants shall get an opportunity to be a part of keynote addresses by eminent stalwarts and further participate in oral paper presentation or poster presentation. The Conference also has one Youth Workshop.

After the grand success of the Debate for last 13 years, this time we plan to include even more
Universities from all corners of the country. In all about 50 universities are expected to compete
with their oratory skills. This
competition will be an instrument in generating social awareness about the issue of Youth’s
contributions in developing India. It will promote the sharing of thoughts among the students
and will serve as an opportunity to bring students with diversified thoughts close to each other.

Orator of the Zone
The development of soft skills is essential to convert a student into a successful professional.
Oratory skills play a significant role in one’s success as the way one communicates depicts
one’s persona. This competition is organized for school students of class 6th to 12th from all areas
nearby Pantnagar University, so that they can showcase their talent and get the exposure they
need.
Bharat Ko Jaano
A quiz contest for school going children of Pantnagar, Haldwani, Rudrapur & Kashipur etc.
which makes them aware about the country’s heritage & its cultural roots. About 3000 students
of the zone participate enthusiastically in the competition.
Youth March
A march covering all the 21 university Hostels in which about 700 university students & staff
members will participate.
